There's an app for that!

A short aside before I dive headlong into NaNo land again. I'm testing the new free Squarespace iPhone app and so far it's a keeper. Being able to post from my iPod touch via wi-fi as well as check the site stats without having to wait until I got onto a computer is a great timesaver. Can't complain. Can't wait to see what future updates will bring; until then I hope this app will help me post more often. At least it will be fun!

A(nother) new start: new web site at Diurnal Labyrinth

I'll make this short and sweet since my last couple of posts were rather humongous. I have a new web site and a new domain! This has been a long time coming; ever since my last post here some months ago I've been unhappy with the way my front page and journal looked. Don't get me wrong, I love both Rapidweaver and WordPress, my web site builder and journal theme respectively, but I didn't like how they didn't relate to one another. They seemed like distant entities and nothing matched, nothing made sense. I also resented how much time I needed to update both my site and my journal and make sure everything was up to date to avoid the everpresent hackers and the like from doing nasty things there. I haven't posted in a while because I didn't want to find out that I needed to do yet another update or change yet another component on the site. The more things needed to change, the more I avoided writing anything and that cycle had to be broken. But what to do?
